Christmas for Kids 2009
As the holidays approach, we are gearing up for the “Christmas for Kids” program at the Children’s Advocacy Center.  Throughout the years, the CAC has made continuous efforts to reach out to the community, especially during the holidays. We are gathering sponsors for individual children in the CASA, Hope House, and Family Enrichment Services programs.  Many of these children have been abused or neglected and currently reside in foster care, or they come from extremely financially disadvantaged families.  There are about 350 children who count on us for assistance this time of year. 

HOW IT WORKS:
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Tom Green County would like to thank you for your generous participation in Christmas for Kids. Because of you, Christmas will be brighter this holiday season for an abused, neglected or disadvantaged child.  Please fax, mail or email by November 13 or call 325-653-4673 for more information. 

1. Download and fax enrollment form to 653-5045.
   
2. You may request the wish list of a child and purchase items for him/her. The CAC will mail you your child’s profile and instructions upon receipt of form below.
3. You may visit Wells Fargo Advisors located at 2113 Knickerbocker Rd and choose an ornament with a child’s profile from the tree, purchase requested items and return by December 14th.
   
4. Individuals/organizations can sponsor a child by making a tax-deductible contribution, which the Children’s Advocacy Center will use to purchase the gifts for the child. Contributions may be made via check made payable to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Tom Green County (Please specify that the donation is for Christmas for Kids)
5. An individual/organization may also donate items from a list which can be found below.
   

Please know that no contribution is too small.  All help is greatly appreciated!
All unwrapped gifts and donations should be brought to the Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County by December 14th.
